Fereydoun Ave: Recent Works 2019-2021
Dastan presents an extensive exhibition of works by Fereydoun Ave titled “Recent Works 2019-2021” at +2 and Dastan’s Basement. The exhibition will open on Friday, April 9, 2021, and will be on display for public viewing until April 23. Featuring new mixed media works on paper and canvas, as well as a sculpture, this exhibition is a culmination of works done during the year the artist spent in lockdown.
Comprised of four body of works each resonating one season of the year, the current presentation serves as a reminder of the year that slipped by us because of the pandemic. The artist describes the works in these series as the “product of having to stay within the confinement of my studio and my house in Paris throughout 2019-2021”.
